Anna is a Melbourne Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed her undergraduate training at Melbourne’s Monash University in 1999 and completed her training in Orthopaedic surgery in 2011.
Her interests include Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, particularly developmental dysplasia of the hip, and Third World Orthopaedics, especially work via outreach projects, as an annual commitment.
Anna is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health via Flinders University in Melbourne to complement her intense interest in research. She has previously been involved in projects that examine the role of computer devices in paediatric physiotherapy, and is currently part of a number of research projects at Melbournes Northern and Western hospitals.
She also has a keen interest in education, being a medical student tutor for the University of Melbourne, and being involved in GP and Emergency Physician education and isĀ a co-editor of the Orthofracs website, www.Orthofracs.com, designed for Orthopaedic registrar training, and is involved with IMG (International Medical Graduate) education with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Anna is a first line assessor for the Victorian Audit of Surgical Mortality (VASM) and takes an active role in hospital as well as personal auditing of her cases.
Anna is committed to providing excellence in care and communication to her patients and their doctors.
